An US passport is an identification document issued by the federal government that confirms the identity and nationality of the holder. It allows the holder to travel freely within the United States and to enter and exit the country. An apostille is an authentication of a public document for international use.
There are many reasons why you might need to apostille an US passport. For example, if you are applying for a job in another country, or getting married in another country, you may need to provide an apostilled US passport as proof of your identity. The first step is to contact the Connecticut Secretary of the State's office to request an Apostille. The office will provide you with the necessary forms and instructions. Once you have completed the forms and submitted them, you will need to wait for the Apostille to be processed. Processing time/cost
